The White House is firing back after officials in California
spoke out against Friday's ice raids. In downtown Los Angeles,
Mayor Karen Bass released a statement saying she was quote
deeply angered by the raids and that her office was
in close coordination with immigrant rights organizations. The mayor vowed quote,
we will not stand for this. Following her statement, White

House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller responded by saying, quote,
federal law is supreme and federal law will be enforced.
Among the forty five people arrested included the president of

Powerful storms rolled across Oklahoma overnight, knocking down trees and
pounding the western and northern parts of the state with
large hail. Several tornadoes were also confirmed. Severe weather is
expected to continue today from eastern Oklahoma to northern Georgia,
where residents are being warned of wind damage, lightning, and
possible flash flooding Tomorrow. The southern plains could see damaging winds,

The man who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador and
became a flashpoint of President Trump's immigration policy is back

will be charged with human trafficking.

since the proposed rent increased tweaks were made. Salaries don't

say that proposed increase is still too high, but landlords

The shot, called lena Kapavir, would be given two times
a year and could be a big advancement in the
fight against HIV. The shot win is tested in a
study of women and girls by drugmaker Gilead Sciences. None
of the study participants who received the shot got HIV.

And Tom Cruise has set a Guinness World Record for
one of the death defying stunts in his latest Mission
Impossible movie. One scene in the Final Reckoning shows the
actor as secret agent Ethan Hunt, jumping from a helicopter
in a parachute that catches fire in mid air. Cruz
had to repeat the stunt sixteen times to get it right.
