Bruce (00:00):
All right.
Ladies and gentlemen, this isBruce from the Ugly Quacking
Duck and we are live.
Say hi, we're with Lily.

Sunny (00:10):
Hi, hi, don't forget me, bruce, hi, lily.

Bruce (00:19):
Hi Hello, we weren't going to forget you, sonny.
And hi, lily again, and we'rewelcoming you to the first.
I think this is your first live, isn't it?
yeah okay, cool.
Well, the.
The purpose is to hopefullybring some local people in,

(00:39):
involving them in the live.
So you know we're going to haveto get it going smoothly and
get some advertising to localpeople, because that's the plan
and if it works out maybe we'llhave more people involved, and
right now it's just kind of apractice.
Yeah, but if this works, thenthat recording that I make off

(01:03):
of this will be a part of theregular recording.
So, yay, and I've usedriverside.
This time we did podbean.
The first time I did it alive,I didn't have any guests come in
, so it worked out good.
The second, second time I triedPodbean, I had a caller come in

(01:27):
, mark, and it had a real badecho.
Come to find out I was havingtrouble with the laptop and I
was having trouble with when Ihit to monitor on my computer it
made it echo really bad.
So I don't know what was goingon.
But I've tried riverside and itseemed um, pretty nice, seemed

(01:54):
like it was working good.

Sunny (01:55):
So we're gonna hang out with that and see what happens
yeah, we're gonna hang out withBruce and see how bad he can
mess it up.

Lily (02:08):
Wow, wow.
Well, we're not gonna say Bruceanymore, we're gonna say Brooke
.
How about it's gonna be Brookethis time?
Sonny, it's been Brooke.

Bruce (02:27):
I heard that.
I want you to know.
I heard that.

Sunny (02:32):
Oh, you poor thing, Brooke.

Bruce (02:39):
Okay, well, anyhow, yeah, anyway, this is episode 102
being recorded after the liveshow goes out.
We had something excitinghappen in the family.
I want to announce that rightoff the bat.

Lily (03:03):
Is it what I think it is?

Bruce (03:04):
Probably right off the bat, is it what I think it is?
Probably last friday I was atwork and I received this video
on my phone.
Um, this is friday morning andI received a video from my
family up in washington and itwas a picture, a video actually,
of a new baby.
So I've got wow, thatmotorcycle is loud, I've got a

(03:29):
new.
That's one thing I like aboutthis uh weather we're having.
We got the windows open.

Lily (03:33):
It's fresh air, pretty nice and there's raw noises from
the window yeah, a lot of.

Bruce (03:39):
We're right next to the highway, so we experienced that
last summer, if you remember, and then we put an air
conditioner window.
We heard that.
So that's just part of ourstudio.

Lily (03:49):
Hey, that's just life the struggle was we had to like turn
it off and on between takes inthe podcast we did, but that's,
you know, part of being, uh,just a hobby type of podcasting
person it's better than being inthe garage, honestly.

Bruce (04:05):
Yeah, the garage is hot and cold, just according to what
season it was.
But anyhow, back to my story.
All right, I'm jumping in myseat.
Yeah, it was a picture of mynew great-grandson after he'd
been born.

Lily (04:22):
Is that my cousin?

Bruce (04:23):
Yeah, yeah, no, no, yeah, something'm.
We'll have to figure that out,but yeah, that was cool.
Yeah, it put me on top of theday.

Lily (04:35):
Man, I was all anxious and excited and bouncing around the
rest of the day I was at schooland I and when I I opened my
phone at home because I just gothome I went on snapchat and I
opened it and I just saw babyyeah, it was kind of cool I was
like oh yeah it was really cool,so we want to welcome philip.

Bruce (05:00):
It's a week late, philip, I'm sorry about that, but I
tried to do a podcast that dayand it just went south, so I'm
doing it now.

Lily (05:11):
The storm's about to go south.

Bruce (05:12):
Yeah, we'll talk about that in a few minutes actually.
And the moon, yeah, andearthquakes.
We've got a lot of things totalk about.
Phillip, welcome to the family, welcome to the world, we're
glad to have you aboard.
So, um, here we go, there yougo.
That's for philip.
Wait a minute.
Let's ring some bells forphilip too, to announce that I

(05:37):
can get carried away, can't Iguys?

Lily (05:40):
I would do the same thing if I were you.
I don't think the bells workanymore.
There you go, there you go.

Bruce (05:54):
Bing, bing.
All right, that was kind of avery late start to the bell and
my buttons wasn't working orsomething, but anyhow, we have
some bells, some some whistles.
Do we have any whistles today?

Lily (06:10):
we can have.

Bruce (06:12):
I can do a handmade whistle if I've got some
whistles, but hey, I've got,I've got stuff over here too.

Lily (06:20):
So I don't know my whistle .
Where did my whistle go?
I don't know where my whistle.
Where did my whistle go?

Bruce (06:25):
I don't know, I didn't see.

Sunny (06:29):
I think you've lost your mind.

Bruce (06:32):
I don't see no whistle.

Sunny (06:34):
I think it's all over, dear.

Lily (06:37):
I think it ran away from me.

Bruce (06:40):
Well.
I don't know.
I don't know where it went.
You must have threw it overthere.
It's not behind you, is it?
Nope?
I don't know where it went.
You must have threw it overthere.
It's not behind you, is it?
No, I don't know.

Lily (06:49):
I swear.

Bruce (06:50):
Weird, weird, weird, weird.

Lily (06:52):
That's very weird.

Bruce (06:53):
All right on the format.
Here's the two things I wantedto do live.
I was going to keep it short toabout 15 minutes and then
finish recording my podcastlater and adding that 15 minutes
on at the end.
But this time around I thinkwe're just because I'm using
riverside and it's got betterquality than I was using before

(07:16):
a little longer yeah, we'regoing to do the whole podcast
today on this on this liveplatform, see how it records out
and if it works, we may do thatmore often.
Um, so you know, we're justgoing to go that route.
So, oh, we want to do the localweather because we're wanting

(07:37):
to do local, local yoko.
You know what that means.

Lily (07:42):
Found it.
I found my whistle.

Bruce (07:44):
Found your whistle.

Lily (07:45):
Found my whistle.
You're loco I can do my whistle.

Bruce (07:48):
Yep, okay, you can do your whistle.
While you're doing your whistle, I'm going to look for my
weather app.

Lily (07:54):
Do I go down or up first?

Bruce (07:56):
Either way.

Lily (08:01):
There you go, Phillip.

Bruce (08:03):
That was good All for Phillip.
I'll good All for Phillip.
I'll have to make surePhillip's mom's mom.

Lily (08:10):
Mom's mom.

Bruce (08:11):
Phillip's mom listens to the podcast and tells him all of
it's for him.
There you go.
So we're dedicating this messtoday and I call it a mess
because every time we do apodcast it always becomes kind
of tedious.
Something funny happens everysingle time, I feel and this

(08:32):
time we're doing live, so Ican't stop it.

Lily (08:34):
Pause, go get a drink or whatever we want to do, so we're
going to have to just live withI remember that one time when I
brought ghosty on here a fewyears ago and he bumped his eye
on the microphone oh yeah Icould not stop laughing yeah, I
think I got that one on tapethough and then on the recording
remember when I like just likeyou started off the podcast with

(08:54):
me giggling yeah, yeah there'sa lot of funny moments that I
have them are good moments.

Bruce (09:00):
So they're.
They're show people we'reactually live and we're not um
just sitting here like whoa, whoa yeah, we're not pretending
we're real.
We're not aliens trust okay, souh want to talk about
earthquakes let's do theearthquake thing first, and that

(09:22):
will give me time to um, huntup my weather map because I
don't know what happened to it.

Lily (09:34):
I stuck it in here somewhere, okay, so I'm just
gonna check it and see ifanything changed okay, you check
it, see if anything or changedor broke.
Okay, okay, hold on.

Sunny (09:52):
Okay.
Well, while Bruce is lookingfor something and Lily's over
there looking for something, I'mgoing to talk about jokes.
Are you ready for this?
Here's a new dad joke.
Did you hear about the wigthief who escaped from prison?

(10:19):
Guess what happened?
The police are combing the areato find him.

Bruce (10:32):
Okay, that's wonderful.
Um thank you, Sonny.
Um thank you, sonny oh, you'rewelcome.

Sunny (10:51):
You're welcome, I'm taking my bow taking the bow,
taking the bow.

Lily (10:59):
Okay, I changed everything .

Bruce (11:00):
So okay so we had some changes.
I take it we had to update onthe earthquake report they went
down, went down that means someof them rolled off it went down
again.

Lily (11:13):
Okay, you know what hold on yeah, that's probably what
I'm gonna look at the paperanyway, okay, so do you know
last week's?

Bruce (11:22):
yeah, we need, we need to know last week, and then we
have to give last week's wasthree, which is also the actual
month, march 7th 2025.

Lily (11:34):
The total in all was 2081.
Thank you for that car.
We love the sound.
The 2.5 plus was 262.
The 4.5 plus Thank you again.

(11:54):
The 4.5 plus was 86.
What are your guesses for today, this week?

Bruce (12:03):
All right, sunny, you want to go first.
You want me to?
I think, I think you should gofirst all right, I'll go first
um what was the total again forthe last week or two weeks ago
um 2081, so 2081 okay, I'm gonnasay 2150?

(12:24):
.
Yeah, so somewhere around 2100.

Lily (12:28):
I don't know exactly how much, but Okay, let me just put
your name here.

Bruce (12:31):
All right.

Lily (12:32):
Oh, I forgot some steps.
There was a 6.0 and a 6.1.
The 6.1 was in Chile.

Bruce (12:41):
Okay, yeah, and I'm going to turn it over to Sonny.
Sonny, what do you think?

Sunny (12:49):
I think you went up, so I'm going to go down.
It's going to be around 1975.
That was a good year, right, bruce, you old man.
Ha ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,ha ha, old man, ha ha, ha, ha,
ha ha.

Bruce (13:06):
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha ha.
What was your guess?
I don't know how I want to takethat.
Let's see, let's help him out alittle bit.

Lily (13:16):
What was your guess, Brooke?
What did you guess?
If you don't remember, you canchange it 1975.
Sonny, I said Brooke.

Sunny (13:34):
Oh, I was excited.
Somebody called on me Darn it.

Lily (13:40):
It's okay, don't worry, you're good.

Bruce (13:44):
Well, my guess was 21, 2100, I think 20 2150, 2100s,
somewhere in the 2150 2150 okayyeah, somewhere in I've been
trying to round them off.
So you know he's in the 1900s,I'm in the 2100s do you want to
guess the 2.5 for the 4.5?

(14:05):
So no, no, we'll just go onfrom there.

Lily (14:07):
So we're just going to based on who was closer.
The total and all was 1942 wow,wow it went down a lot, I got

(14:28):
it.

Bruce (14:29):
Oh, man, hang on, I got it.

Lily (14:33):
Even Sonny giggled a little bit himself.

Bruce (14:35):
Yeah, that was oh boy.
Yeah, you know, that was close, wasn't it Sonny's?

Lily (14:43):
Yeah, yeah, he said 1975, you said 2150 and it was what.

Bruce (14:51):
19 1942 wow so we're back to like he used to do.
He would guess it almost on thenose, because that's really
close.

Lily (15:04):
You know this thing guess it almost on the nose, because
that's really close.
I want to you know this thing.

Bruce (15:11):
I've got one of those sounds.

Lily (15:14):
You can do it for Sonny, because he got it right.
Well, I can do it.

Bruce (15:18):
Let me do an applause for him.
Here you go, Sonny.
This is for you.

Sunny (15:24):
Thank you, thank you, thank, thank you.
I'm taking another bow.
See, I am it, I'm the guy yeah, good job, good job.

Bruce (15:40):
I don't know how he does that so good, but but he did do
that, and neither one of us hasseen those earthquakes, so it
went down.
That's a good thing, right?
So that means less, lessearthquakes.
Oh, and then read the numbers.

Lily (15:58):
It's 1943 now.

Bruce (16:00):
See if those went down on other numbers.

Lily (16:03):
Okay, the 2.5 was 265.
So it went up like a fewbecause the last week's was 262.

Bruce (16:19):
And.

Lily (16:21):
And the 4.5 for last week was.
Last week was oh, was, oh.
That's boring.
What last week was 86, thisweek it's just 85.
It just went down one.
We have a 6.5.
I didn't write the country thatit was in because none of us

(16:43):
would be able to pronounce it.
Even if we tried, we couldnever get it.

Bruce (16:54):
But I can recheck again to see if there was any added
ones.
Well, go ahead, add it up andsee what's extra.

Lily (17:00):
There's nothing.
It's just the 6.5, so nothing.

Bruce (17:04):
Nothing new, huh, nothing new so where does that put us?

Lily (17:13):
Higher or lower on them?

Bruce (17:15):
There we go, I got it.

Lily (17:19):
Yeah, that's my duck call that Shannon got me.
It sounds pretty good.
It does sound like a duck.

Bruce (17:22):
Yeah, it does.
So what did you say my dad Idid?
What was the 6.0s?
Did you read them all?

Lily (17:33):
I read them when I was telling you the total.
Oh, I thought that was for lastweek, no, last week we had two
it was a 6.0 and a 6.1.
This week we leave it at 6.5,but none of us could pronounce
the state or country that it'sin, so I didn't even try to put
it on there.

Bruce (17:54):
If you click on it.

Lily (17:56):
I clicked on it it shows it on the map.

Bruce (18:00):
Where's it at?

Lily (18:01):
I'll have to go back.

Bruce (18:03):
If you can kind of estimate where it's at for the
audience.

Lily (18:10):
It's in the middle of nowhere.

Bruce (18:13):
Okay.

Lily (18:17):
So yeah.
But so, sonny, you had your ownlittle dad joke yep, and he
told it too.
He's such a smart guy well, Ihave my own joke do you well,

(18:40):
tell it, tell it, tell it,forrest please.
Well.

Bruce (18:49):
Knock knock.

Sunny (18:50):
Who's there Me?

Lily (18:55):
me Justin.

Bruce (18:59):
Justin who.

Lily (19:02):
Justin time for breakfast.

Bruce (19:10):
Oh, wait, a minute, not bad.

Sunny (19:15):
Yeah, I know.

Bruce (19:22):
Thank you.

Lily (19:30):
My phone is killing me.

Bruce (19:31):
You just hear the clapping and then it's just
molder.
It's me.
Yeah, that laughing was the.
The applause was on my mixerbox, but the laughing was on the
studio stuff.
So they've got neat stuff overhere that I can use, which is
cool.

Lily (19:45):
Yeah.

Bruce (19:48):
So I'm trying to get to the weather map.
So if everybody hang on to meor hang on with me, and I'll let
Lily and Sunny talk while I tryto figure out what's going on,
so take it away.

Lily (20:09):
So Sunny.
You hear the storm that'sa-brewing.

Sunny (20:14):
Yeah, we're going to talk about that weather.
Let's talk about it, Hi.

Lily (20:18):
Lily, well, let me look up how it's going to be so I can,
you know, get the perfectexplanation to these people that
live in the southern part ofIllinois Weather.

Sunny (20:37):
That's what Bruce is doing.

Lily (20:39):
He's got a big storm.
You know, duck, duck go isn'tgiving me anything but websites
that probably aren't safe, sowe're gonna look it up on my
phone.
Does that sound like like agood deal sunny?

Sunny (20:55):
well, bruce does that.
He's got an app that does allthat.

Lily (21:01):
Well, I have one too.

Sunny (21:05):
Okay, alright, I didn't know it was competing.

Lily (21:08):
So I'm not going to read the full article, but I will
read you some parts of it.
Okay, alright, I'm ready.
Central Illinois there's apayment in the way, my bad.
Central Illinois's there's apayment in the way, my bad.
Anyway.

(21:30):
Central Illinois's stormwarning damaging winds up to 75
miles per hour and large hailpossible through 7 pm tonight.
Springfield, illinois.
A significant severe weatheroutbreak is expected across
Illinois starting Friday evening, bringing the threat of
tornadoes, damaging winds andlarge hail.
The National Weather Servicehas issued a level four moderate

(21:51):
risk for severe storms acrossmuch of the state, partially in
central and southern Illinois.

Sunny (21:57):
Wow, we're going to have fun tonight.

Lily (22:03):
So what it's telling me is where we live'm not gonna say
where we live, but where we livein our small town.
We're in the path of the storm,so we're gonna be like right in
the middle of the storm yeah, that's what I've been hearing.

Bruce (22:13):
Uh, I had a gentleman actually come into work.
I didn't tell you this, lily, but yesterday afternoon about
three o'clock I had a gentlemancome in, an older man, and he
walked in, walked up to thecounter back there in my
department, kind of leaned overthe counter and he said does

(22:34):
this place sell weather radios?
And I said no, I'm sorry, wedon't.
And he said, well, you shoulddon't.
And he said well, you should.
And I said, well, why is that?
and he said because there's atornado getting ready to go
right through here there is andhe said that and he, I said okay

(22:55):
and kind of dismissed it and hestarted to walk off and he said
I said, why no?
I said how did you come up withthat information?
Because I figured he'd justbeen on a weather map and he's
going to tell me what one.
He was on Right, and he pointedup to the ceiling and said the
Lord told me.
And then he just walked off.

Lily (23:16):
Wow.

Bruce (23:17):
Yeah, that's.
He just walked off.
Wow, yeah, that's well.
If you take that kind of uhinformation, as you know, a
warning and there you go.

Lily (23:27):
I mean whatever the lord tells you.

Bruce (23:31):
Whatever the lord tells you, I have more to read okay,
uh, you do your thing and thenI'll do mine, but this is for
our local people.
That's what we do.

Lily (23:40):

midwest southern illinois andthat's pertaining to that so if
you're tuning in, you shouldprobably listen a little bit
just to be, just to be prepared.

of multiple tornadoes.
Heavy rainfall may also lead tolocalized flooding.

(24:27):

Friday, will be canceledbecause of flooding and maybe
possible more tornadoes, moretornadoes.
A second wave of storms ispossible Saturday afternoon in
southern east Illinois, withthreats including 60-plus mph

Bruce (25:12):
Cool.
Okay, while we're talking aboutthat, I'm going to give a shout
out to the weather guy we liketo watch on youtube ryan hall,
y'all yep, there you go.
Thank you, lily he, he.

Lily (25:26):
Really, if you can watch him at home right now, you can
turn him on.
He's always live.
When there's like weather, he'salways.
I think he's like every day, for, like any state that's
having a weather problem, I'mpretty sure it doesn't matter
what?

Bruce (25:39):
yeah, he told told us on the one yesterday that he would
probably be starting on fridaynight and he'd probably have to
do a 36 hour.
He didn't know how he was goingto do that, but we watched him
this morning.
He was live this morning atlike five six he was already
live yeah yeah, we may haveturned him on here, but yeah we

(25:59):
have a question this morning.

Lily (26:00):
Remember this morning we had we had him on here.
Well, that was his bot.

Bruce (26:05):
He has a bot that he programmed that actually has a
live channel of its own yeahthat it's pretty well on all the
time, and I follow that one too.

Lily (26:16):
This is not a very nice way for a spring to say hi to us
?

Bruce (26:25):
Well, no, I tell people that winter's crying out the
door.
It's leaving us, so we'regetting rain and the people up
north of us is getting snow.
Wow, For the last thing.

Lily (26:33):
A hundred jobs, or like buildings, power got cut off.

Bruce (26:39):
From the storm already.
From the storm already.
All right, well, let's switchgears here, and I got my app up.
So it's 81 degrees here andit's sunny with wind.
The humidity here in southernIllinois is 37 degrees, the wind

(27:00):
is 23 miles an hour and its airquality is 54 degrees today.
Now, if we compare that toPhoenix Arizona I like to do
that, so you kind of get a feelof what's going on the humidity
there is 41 degrees instead ofr37, so they're actually higher

(27:23):
right now, which is kind ofstrange.
Yeah, their winds only sixmiles an hour and their air
quality is 26, which is great.
Well, I call it great, but it'sgood.

Lily (27:35):
Ours is 54, which is moderate so it's actually 79,
which is basically 80 degreesupside.

Bruce (27:44):
It's 84 here.

Lily (27:46):
Right now 84 here Yep.
Wow.

Bruce (27:49):
Yep, and it's marked.
Yeah, the winds are coming fromthe south 25 to 35 miles an
hour at this time.
Now they're talking about whenthem storms blow in.
We're supposed to have windgusts um hurricane level at
times, so yikes yeah, this isdefinitely.

Lily (28:14):
this is like the last year's storm, do you?
Do you remember the last year'sstorm?
Do you remember the last?

Bruce (28:18):
year's storm.
Yeah, a couple times.

Lily (28:20):
I think it's like bigger because Thank you for that.

Bruce (28:25):
They seem like they want to rev up when they go by the
house, don't they Right?

Lily (28:29):
yeah, they said possibly an EF2 tornado or even higher,
which is very, very odd for ourIllinois state, because usually
if there's tornadoes, it's likea, like a simple tiny one.

Bruce (28:43):
You know our town hasn't had one since.
Well, I'm not gonna go intothat, but it's been a long time,
a big one, I mean I'm about tobe 12 and I've never seen a
tornado.
I've seen like well, let's pray, that stays that way.

Lily (28:57):
Yeah let's pray that I don't have to either even see
one or even be in one.

Bruce (29:03):
Oh no, I don't like that all right, I don't have anybody
still trying to knock on thedoor, um, which is a shame
there's no one here yet no onehere no that's okay I wish yours
was working so you could seeand kind of get an adjustment of

(29:26):
what's happening.
I'm gonna have to figure outwhy that's not working, but
we'll do that again later.
Um, all right, slight bad pauseit's so silent yeah, it is
silent you guys are pathetic.

Sunny (29:50):
You know that I could go to sleep listening to you.
You're so slow on your comments.

Lily (30:00):
Sunny, you want to know something.
Let's just say that you wereoutside around 6 pm and we never
told you anything about thestorm and you saw it raining
really hard and there's a big, larger than a golf ball.

Sunny (30:15):
I didn't say you were boring because of that
information.
You said y'all.
I said because you pause solong, so long, so long.

Lily (30:47):
Now finishing my story.
Wow, what if you're outside andwe never even said anything?

Bruce (30:52):
about the storm and you're just.
You're just a small duck.

Lily (30:55):
Um, wow, should I be saying duck?

Bruce (30:57):
I.
I thought maybe he's going toexplode doing that, you know.

Lily (31:01):
Yeah, me too.
I saw his face getting prettyred.

Bruce (31:04):
Yeah, it looked like he was going to just into nothing.

Lily (31:09):
Into nothing.

Bruce (31:11):
Yeah.

Lily (31:12):
Into nothing.
What was that?
For that sounded like thunder.
What was that?

Bruce (31:19):
What was that?
Look at, sounded like thunder.
What was that?
What was that?
Look at?
Oh my gosh, look at Sunny.
Something's going on, what'sgoing?

Lily (31:31):
on Sunny, are you?
Why is there a shining light?
What's going on?
Why is there a shining?

Bruce (31:43):
light.
Oh, my Wait, that's not sunny.
That's not sunny.
What is that?
That's not sunny, that's a frog.

Sunny (32:05):
That is a frog.
What the heck.
I told you I was an alien.
You didn't believe me, man, Idon't, um, I should have had the
camera on.

Bruce (32:15):
I should have had the camera on.

Lily (32:17):
I should have had the camera on, there was like a
bright light and Sonny wasfloating.

Bruce (32:23):
Yeah, I think he sucked in too much air when he was
doing that thing, because whathappened to you, sonny?
Now he's a frog.

Sunny (32:31):
I'm morphed, I'm a morpher.
Oh.

Bruce (32:36):
A morpher?
Okay, that's a new one for me.
New word okay, sunny, just moreyou're the frog.

Lily (32:49):
Yes, I did wait.
Wait.
He has a headset now.
He's never had a headset beforewell, he had that one.

Bruce (32:56):
It was his mic on, but oh yeah that was weird.

Lily (33:00):
That was weird.

Bruce (33:00):
I'm freaked out, but your , your name is still sunny,
right oh yeah, I'm sunny I thinka little bit bigger uh, yeah,
and take a picture of me realquick, okay, and we will send it
to our website if you'resubscribed.
If you you're not subscribed,go subscribe so you can listen

(33:23):
to this stuff live.
But if you are, anyway, we'regoing to put a picture up there
and you'll be able to see it.
But that was wild.
Sonny is now different.
Yeah, he's a morpher, I'm amorpher.
All right, we got some picturescoming and we're gonna we're

(33:47):
gonna put them online and uh,wow, that's a first for me.
You're a frog, I'm a frog,you're a frog.
Okay, well, sunny was somethinglike a duck.
I wasn't sure it was a duck,sonny wasn't smiling.

Lily (34:06):
Sonny, you need to smile.

Bruce (34:09):
Oh.

Lily (34:12):
There you go.

Bruce (34:13):
He's acting weird too.
He is, I don't know, but anywaywe've gotten pictures of the
new morphed Sonny.

Lily (34:22):
Speaking of pictures, did you guys go outside during
midnight?
I know some of you might havenot, but I was up, I did and it
was a full moon phase, whichmeans it was a lunar eclipse,
total lunar eclipse, and I gotsome pictures and we're going to
put them up on the website.

Bruce (34:43):
Yeah, apparently that kind of eclipse that they had
made the sun look red or orange.

Lily (34:52):
It went through the umbra and the pre-umbra.

Bruce (34:54):
Do you know?

Lily (34:55):
what the difference is between those.

Bruce (34:56):
No.

Lily (34:57):
So the umbra is basically a fancy word for shadow.
It's a Latin word for shadow,so it's like the earth has to go
in that, and then when it goesback, so then when it goes out,
it's the pre-numbra.
So the pre-number makes theearth I mean I mean the moon
dark, so like you can't see it,and then it'll come back into
the normal moon.
So the umbra is totally, ispart, partly blocked, and then

(35:22):
the pre-number is totallyblocked.
I think, if I, if I remembercorrectly in science class,
that's what I learned okay, well, um, we may finish the live
before I post those pictures ofsunny.

Bruce (35:35):
Yes, that's gonna be hard to say sunny when I'm looking
at that frog at a frog becauseI've been used to wow.
I'm blowed away I mean I, I'mstarting to believe him when he
says he's really an alienbecause a pony or a cat because
he can't play in the water nomore oh, that's right but he can
now.

Sunny (35:54):
He can still play in the water I could, as a duck, really
I could, but you're a frog yeah, yeah, ain't it great, but you
can still play in the water, though.

Lily (36:06):
That's one point.

Sunny (36:07):
Yep, that's true, as long as I stay inside, because I
don't have feathers to protectme in the winter.
We got you.

Bruce (36:15):
We'll take care of you, Sonny.
We do.

Lily (36:17):
And what's that in your hands?
You have like a black cup withpurple stuff in it.

Sunny (36:26):
That's my cauldron.

Lily (36:32):
So you're a witch and a frog.

Sunny (36:36):
Oh, I'm so much more.

Lily (36:39):
You're scaring me, please stop.

Bruce (36:43):
I just got weird it's very awkward much more.

Lily (36:48):
Okay, tune in next week and maybe we'll find out
something different besidesmaybe we'll even sunny's
morphing maybe we'll have evenanother bigger announcement
coming from me don't tease us Iwon't, you won't get out early
next friday?

Bruce (37:05):
tease us, I won't.
You won't get out early nextFriday, though, so we probably
won't be able to do this.
I can do it now, okay Shoot, orgo ahead, or wait a minute.
Wait a minute, let me see if Ican find it.

Lily (37:18):
Just a warning.
This is really big to me.
So you guys know how I watch mywrestling and this is really
big to me.
But some people are like that'sjust a stupid thing, but to me
it's really serious.
So my favorite wrestler, rheaRipley, held the WWE Women's

(37:42):
Championship.

Bruce (37:43):
Women.
She just got back in January.

Lily (37:44):
Women's okay, she just got back in January.
She had a match, she had a.

Sunny (37:50):
No women, she had a match .

Lily (37:55):
She had a match.

Bruce (37:56):
I think he's kind of lost his mind because he's not even
making sense right now.
I think something needs to kindof that way he'll be back even
making sense right now.
Yeah, I think something needsto kind of yeah, yeah, and that
that way he'll be back to makingsense anyway, I always make
sense anyway.

Lily (38:12):
Um, that's odd.

Bruce (38:14):
Look at me I'm low please stop, that's scary okay
introducing Sonny as the nutcasein the house.
I'm no longer taking thatposition.
He's done.
Stole it, go ahead.

Lily (38:35):
Lily anyway, creepy little Sonny, now not even a duck
anymore, just a frog.
It's not even Halloween, man, Iknow.
I think he transformed intosomething that he meant to
transform into Halloween.

Bruce (38:49):
Yeah, he didn't do it.
Maybe that's why he's been socranky, yeah maybe Anyway, tell
your story.

Lily (38:55):
So she had a match.
I think it was this month ormaybe last month, I don't
remember Orton beat last month.
I don't remember.
It's just so upsetting.
Oh, grandma just texted me.

Bruce (39:05):
Well, that's cool.

Lily (39:06):
She lost it.

Bruce (39:09):
She lost it.

Lily (39:09):
She lost her championship because EO Sky beat her.
So that's not the bigannouncement.
The big announcement isscrolling through Facebook.
Last night I saw a triplethreat match is going to happen
at WrestleMania.
And I saw a triple threat matchis going to happen at
WrestleMania and it's againstthe new championship winner, io

(39:31):
Sky, rhea Ripley and BiancaBelair.
They all have.

Bruce (39:36):
I don't know any of those names.

Lily (39:38):
They all have beef with each other, it's just.

Bruce (39:40):
Oh, so they're fighting in between each other.

Lily (39:43):
Right, so a triple threat match is no one on the same team
, they're just between eachother.
Right so a triple threatmatches no one on the same team,
they're just fighting eachother when's that going to
happen?

Bruce (39:49):
wrestlemania 41, which is april 19th to the 20th 21st
21st you still owe me and theaudience a story about your
wrestlemania.
Yeah, that you went to.
When was that?
February, january.
February 1st and yeah, we nevergot you back on here, was it
fun?

Lily (40:09):
it was very fun.
Um, I was shocked because JohnCena came back.
John Cena was back.
He came back for this.
He almost won and the wholeentire crowd was like so silent
when he got kicked out.
And then Jey Uso won which?
And the whole entire crowd wasso silent when he got kicked out
.
And then Jey Uso won, which isthe main event.
Jey Uso, I don't get why he'scalled main event.
I mean I don't know, I don'tget it.

(40:32):
And then Charlotte Flair won it.

Bruce (40:50):
Charlotte Flair won the Women's world royal rumble, so,
yeah, okay, so you enjoyed it.
You got to stay all night atthe hotel.
Where was that at?
Again, indiapolis, indiapolis, indiana or ohio it was.
I think it was.

Lily (40:58):
I think the town split by two states.
It was three hours away.

Bruce (41:01):
I think the town split by two states.

Lily (41:04):
It was three hours away, so I don't remember technically,
but I remember just going.

Bruce (41:10):
Well, I'm glad you had fun.
I was waiting for you to getback on the podcast and tell us
all about it and you haven'tdone it.

Lily (41:19):
We skipped one of the matches because I really didn't
care for it.
It was just a tag team matchand the same person won, so like
they have been the past fewdays, so not very different, but
we did see a really fun match.
Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodeswent against each other, so that
was fun to watch.

(41:39):
It was also nerve wracking, though, cause he did the Alabama
slam into a ladder.

Bruce (41:50):
Oh really.

Lily (41:51):
Yeah, basically it's when you put the opponent on your
shoulders, so the opponent'sback is facing this way and
they're just right here, andthen you go head first and slam
them somewhere, and then thatshould knock them out enough for
you to pin them and win.

Bruce (42:05):
And that's what happened.

Lily (42:06):
He got knocked into a ladder.
The ladder broke in half andhis face was just it's
disfigured.

Bruce (42:15):
Blood everywhere on his face, oh yuck.

Lily (42:19):
It was probably scripted though.

Bruce (42:21):
Well, I'm glad you got on here today and helped us to do
the podcast, do it live, and yougot to update us.

Lily (42:28):
I did that's cool.
So yeah, that was a bigannouncement.
It's just I'm really excited tosee what happens at
WrestleMania.
I'm not going it's in Las Vegasbut I'm just excited to see
what happens.

Bruce (42:39):
I love that highway sound .

Lily (42:43):
Thank you for that.
That was a nice little noise,All right Well let's see, let's
wrap it up.

Bruce (42:50):
Wrap it up.
Yeah, let's don't say that, don't remember what we heard on
that podcast.
Yeah, we've got a couple morethings to go over here.
One is the news corner.
News corner yeah, I don't thinkyou've been on here.

Lily (43:06):
I haven't been on here in a while, yeah.

Bruce (43:09):
Sorry, what it is is.

Sunny (43:10):
We've got a News Corner that we Well, listen to him in
the News Corner.
I'm still here, Bruce, and Idon't like that name.

Bruce (43:28):
All right, still here, bruce, and I don't like that
name.
All right, well, he don't likethat name, but I always go and
pick a couple news stories totalk about and I call it the
news corner, and you know, I'mhoping that one day we'll have
some more comments about themand stuff from everybody.
Um, so one of the new storieswas from the last episode where
I talked about how the presidenttrump was wanting to do away

(43:51):
with the pennies.
Oh, and I read the story from Idon't, I think it was npr, I
don't remember, but somehow Ieither got messed up on the
reading part of it or they hadmisprinted it and I read it that
way.
But anyway, it talked about howmany billions of pennies was

(44:12):
made that last year I'm so sorryfor that and how many dollars
was spent, and it didn't add upin my mind.
When I read it I kind ofhesitated, but I went back and
looked it up because I thoughtthat can't be right and it
wasn't um.
So, um, I went back to do aretraction.

(44:36):
I think that's what they callthat in the real news world,
when you go back and do a newsstory and you have to update
update it.

Lily (44:44):
Yeah, we have a update.
The hill got bigger.
It's going to be larger than abaseball, so the hail got bigger
well, it's not healing rightnow, but it it's that they said
that it will be bigger oh, okaysorry to interrupt for the storm
we're talking about that.

Bruce (45:03):
Okay, I'm going to talk about my retraction real quick.
So the story was true.
They made 3.2 billion of thepennies last year.
The us mint did okay, okay, 3.2billion, which, if they were
doing it by a penny, that'd be3.2 billion pennies.

Lily (45:25):
Why?
Because a penny costs one cent.

Bruce (45:26):
No, it costs 3.69 cents in 2024 to make.
Oh, so it's actually costing usthree cents to make a penny
which is supposed to be worthone cent.

Lily (45:42):
So we're losing money.

Bruce (45:44):
No, they're not lying.
It's just how expensive it'sgot over the years to make that
money.
So that's the point that theywere trying to make.
So they reported the usreported, or the Department of
Treasury that they lost $85.3million on printing or making

(46:13):
those pennies.
See the article I read said $84million is what they made.
They got it backwards.

Lily (46:20):
Don't, we need pennies.

Bruce (46:22):
We don't, but we do.
If everybody rounds off, wewon't need pennies.

Lily (46:27):
But what if we're just going to do an example.
What if you bought a turkey atthe store and it was $8.01 and
we didn't have any pennies?
What would you pay with?
We would have $10, $15.

Bruce (46:39):
Well, like I said, they'd have to round off, round off.
Right now they round everythingdown to make it look like it's
cheaper.
So if you go in the store andbuy a hundred dollar item, they
actually mark it down to 99.99to make your brain think, hey,
it's cheaper but it's really not.
It's still a hundred dollarsyeah plus tax, which will

(47:00):
probably be like 101 it'd bewhat's going where you're at,
because, because, taxes changes.

Lily (47:05):
Very Right, because Canada they have, because that's why
it says like on label, like if Ibought a phone, it would say
like US and Canada, canada'sprice would be higher than ours
and we would be lower.

Bruce (47:16):
Yeah, well, that's until the tariffs get all messed up
like they're doing right now.
Yeah, but all messed up likethey're doing right now.
But anyway, that's what's goingon and everything's based on
that little bitty scent.
And you know, if they take thataway and just round everything
off, we won't need penniesanymore.
So I don't know what's going tohappen or what's best.

(47:36):
But I just wanted to fix thatarticle because I read it and
either I misread it or theywrote it wrong, but I didn't
like it at all I mean you wouldthink that like we might need
pennies in our life.

Lily (47:51):
But like you said, sometimes we do, sometimes we
don't well, we've used them allour life.

Bruce (47:56):
It's gonna be kind of hard not to yeah, sunny.

Lily (47:58):
What's your opinion on this?

Sunny (48:02):
uh, I don't have an opinion.
I just know that it's gettinglate and the storm will be
coming before long.
Yuck, I don't know how I'llhandle the storm and it being a
frog.
We'll see.

Lily (48:19):
Well, you know what I'm going to do.
I'm going to charge everyelectronic that I have when I
get home, just in case you know, and I'm going to turn on the TV
and watch wrestling at 7.
Hopefully I can still watch itat 7, because I really want to
watch it at 7.

Bruce (48:35):
Yeah, I think the storm is supposed to hit about 8 or so
.

Lily (48:38):
Okay, well, it lasts until like 8, sometimes 10, so it's
crazy how long wrestling lasts.
It lasts even longer becausehow long the match depends, it
is you know whatever.
But enough of my talking.

Bruce (48:54):
Well, I had an article that I was going to go over last
Friday during the live, and itgot all messed up, it went south
.
Yep, friday during the live, and it got all messed up, it
went south.
The article was about the newlaunch of the Sphere X.
Did I say that right?
No, it's Sphere S-P-H-E-R-Ethen X.

Sunny (49:21):
Oh.

Bruce (49:22):
It is an infrared observatory that they're putting
out to space to help studyeverything.

Lily (49:31):
I'm pretty sure they sent a robot on the moon.

Bruce (49:34):
I was going to go over that too, but anyway, they
actually were getting ready tolaunch it, or test launch it,
last Friday when I was going togo over the article.
Well, they've already put it up, so is that your phone?
That's my mom, All right, well,I'll mute you.

(49:57):
All right, she's muted.
Anyway, I'll go ahead and talkabout that.
March 11th, which was Tuesdayof this last week, they actually
put it up, blasted it off andput it up in space, so we'll see
where that goes, or how thatgoes.
And yeah, there was a moonlanding.
It was an independent groupthat landed on the moon If you

(50:24):
can buy all this, it's calledblue ghost and they uh announced
on March the second that they'dlanded on the moon.
Um, it was uh.
Yep, it was a, a NASA fireflyaerospace uh group, so I guess

(50:44):
we wish him luck.
It was a NASA Firefly AerospaceGroup, so I guess we wish them
luck.
Hopefully they'll do well, ifyou believe they actually got on
the moon.
It may be all a big game play, who knows?
But that's the news.
Hi, you're back.

Lily (51:03):
Mama is on her way.
Well, that's good timing.
Hi, you're back.

Bruce (51:05):
Mama is on her way.
Well, that's a good timingbecause we're getting ready to
wrap it up.

Lily (51:08):
So that's all the news I had for this wrap I didn't hear
it, but I definitely will listento this.
If you do end up posting it, Iwill definitely listen.
Well, here we're.

Bruce (51:18):
if the recording's not messed up, when I get it you
might post it.
I will.
That will be your podcast forthis week.

Lily (51:27):
Okay, sounds like a good deal.

Bruce (51:28):
Yep, and if this works out, we're going to do it more
often.

Lily (51:31):
If you do want to get into wrestling, anybody that's
watching Monday Night Raw is onNetflix Central Time 7.
Smackdown, which is on Fridays,is on USA Network at 7 pm
Central Time.
All right, that's all you needto know.

Bruce (51:45):
I got one other thing we want to go over before we sign
off.
So hang in there, just give mea couple more things here we
want to say thank you to Kenzie,oh, or Mick Kenzie, I think was
her name.

Lily (52:00):
Who's that?

Bruce (52:01):
Well, it was a person that donated a dollar to our
podcast.
Yay, wait a minute.
Where's my applause?
Yay, thank you, mckinney.
Thank you very much, mckinney.
Here's another one.
This is a little bit slower.
I don't know if I like it, butanyway Was it.

Lily (52:18):
C.
Yeah, it was with a C.

Bruce (52:22):
Yep, I've, uh.
Yeah, just with the c.
Yep, I've got it on my.
Uh, I'm not gonna.
Anyway, thank you for donatingthat dollar.

We ask you to support us inmany ways.

You don't have to pay us youcan listen to us.
